Bloody Sunday Paul Greengrass' real-time documentary approach to the tragic events in Northern Ireland 1972.

Plot It's 1972, and local MP Ivan Cooper has organised a peaceful civil rights march in Derry, Northern Ireland. But chaos descends when a breakaway group of youngsters taunt British soldiers, and the body count rises. Verdict Greengrass has deliberately chosen to provoke an emotional rather than intellectual response with his film - but sometimes provocation is much preferred to the British media's maintenance of the status quo.
