The Gift Cate Blanchett on sizzling form as the town psychic unravelling the horrific details of the murder of a local girl.

Plot Small-town psychic Annie is the focal point of her community, finding her door knocked on, on a daily basis by townsfolk after advice. When a local girl is murdered, however, Annie's 'gift' slowly helps her unravel the events of the night in question - with inceasingly sinster consequences. Verdict Comparisons to What Lies Beneath will inevitably be drawn, and Raimi's precursor to Spider-Man is, frankly, inferior. For fans of the jump-out-of-your-skin school, however, this is generally a winner. One made all the more appealing by Cate Blanchett in quite sizzling form.
