Doomsday Bonny Scotland is not so bonny in Neil Marshall’s latest effort

Plot After the emergence of a modern plague in Glasgow, Scotland is walled off and isolated for 20 years. But when the disease threatens the rest of the UK, a crack squad led by one-eyed SWAT-team member Eden Sinclair (Mitra) is sent to find a cure. Verdict Marshall’s film is crammed full of good ideas but doesn’t have the cohesion to pull them all together. Less effective than Dog Soldiers, never mind The Descent.
