Jungle Fever A complex and volitile look at the perils of interracial relationships

Plot Up-and-coming black architect Flipper Purify finds himself in an extra-matital affair with working class Italian American girl Angie from a run down area. The pair are caught up in the fury and suspicion of racial prejudice and as their lies unravel, they wonder if their relationship ever had a chance. Verdict Not quite the classic that Spike Lee had been threatening to make for so long, but, after a return to form after Mo' Better Blues which proved a huge disappointment.
