Plot
Union crime and underworld infiltration are rife on the waterfront docks where Terry Malloy (Brando) day-dreams about being a prize fighter, and tends his pigeons in between errands. It is only a matter of time before he witnesses a brutal crime - a murder by two thug pawns of his boss, Johnny Friendly. Meeting the victim's sister moves Terry to reassess his loyalties.
