Paralysed soap actress May-Alice returns home to rural America to convalesce but argues with each of her nurses until the arrival of Chantelle. Over time the two bond over life's differences, finding they have more in common than either expected.
McDonnell puts in a bitchy performance as the paralysed Mary-Alice, who has to adjust to her last offer of a nurse. Woodard complements her well and the two are enjoyable to watch with strong emotional performances from the two leads as well as the supporting cast.
