Back in the suburbs where he grew up, Lenny (Sandler) and the Feder family endure a demented day in June as old friends (and new bullies) descend on the neighbourhood for mid-life crisis hijinks, climaxing in a wild and rowdy ‘80s-themed party.
A carwash gag with SNL alumni is a rare highlight in an otherwise slothful, indulgent sequel that sees a once-great screen comedian hit self-inflicted Sandlergeddon.
