Plot
Veteran country singer/songwriter ‘Bad’ Blake (Jeff Bridges) battles bills and booze on endless tours of dead-end towns. When he’s interviewed by newspaper reporter Jean Craddock (Maggie Gyllenhaal), he sees some hope for himself and the future in her and son Buddy (Jack Nation).

A phenomenal, heart-breaking performance from Jeff Bridges powers this simple but affecting redemption story.
