Little Ashes (15) Plot The film follows Dalí as he arrives as an 18 year-old at university in Madrid, determined to become a famous artist. He meets and forms a partnership with filmmaker Luis Buñuel and writer Federico García Lorca, and the trio become a formidable force among Madrid’s burgeoning avant garde scene. As time passes and each artist begins to find success, their relationships become strained and Dalí and the charismatic Federico find themselves escaping to the Dalí seaside home in Cadaques, and among the idyllic surrounds the pair begin to grow closer than they anticipated.Verdict Rose-tinted portrait of the seminal Spanish surrealist painter's early years.
