Plot Terry (Farrell) and Ian (McGregor) are East End brothers with dreams. Terry is a gambler, and after he loses £90,000 at the dog track, the pair turn to rich uncle Howard (Wilkinson) for cash. He agrees to help, but only if they agree to commit murder for him.
Verdict A clumsy, clichéd morality play that may actually represent the lowest point of Allen’s recently chequered career.
