Plot
Chicago newspaper editor Walter Burns (Grant) is about to lose his ex-wife and still-employee Hildy (Russell) to an insurance salesman. He secretly, desperately doesn't want this to happen, and tries every trick in the book to get her working on 'one last story'.

A fast talking screwball delight that remains the finest example of its genre.
