Plot Two grumpy old luvvies, Maurice and Ian (Peter O'Toole and Leslie Phillips), share their time together between sparse employment, essentially waiting to die. When Ian's grand-neice (Whitakker) arrives to 'help in his doteage', he's mortified to find she's a lippy little chav. Maurice however, is quite taken with her, and so begins a strange pairing.Verdict A screen-acting showcase by a man whose best days, many thought, were behind him. There’s life in the old dog yet.
