A Room With a View Stiff upperlips unwind in E.M. Forster's Florentine comedy of manners.

Plot Lucy Honeychurch, a passionate girl repressed by society and an loveless engagement, has her life thrown into turmoil when she meets George Emerson, a man of lesser social standing who with his father offers to change their Florence hotel rooms with her and her chaperone as their’s has a view. When she returns to England and her fiancé, she finds she cannot forget him, especially when he moves in locally. Verdict Stunning cast and scenery cannot fill the hole where the heart of this film should be. A satire with an unnaturally soft centre.
