With an assortment of lowlife characters (Vincent Phillips' mouthy skinhead is a scream) and an awesome soundtrack, you have a snotty-nosed kid brother to Trainspotting on your hands, which emerges with a sense of hope and promise while not shying away from putting the boot in.
