Plot
Kyle MacLachlan plays an inquisitive young man who uncovers a frightening conspiracy involving a masochistic nightclub singer (Isabella Rossellini) and her psychotic beau (Dennis Hopper).

Verdict
Packed with typically beautiful, lavish colour, and multi-referencing once again extending to old favourite The Wizard Of Oz, this is fairly unmissable.
