Four illusionists with different skills are enticed into working for a hidden trickster. They devise elaborate crimes while being pursued by an angry cop, and if they can pull them off they’ll get a reward beyond their imagining.
Magicians as criminals is a marvellous conceit and Louis Leterrier gets a great deal of entertainment out of it, but it can’t disguise a weak end with smoke and mirrors.
