A housewife in suburban America becomes is so concerned that everything must be perfect for her family that she is willing to go to any lengths to please them. Even murder. Once found guilty she becomes a celebrity with a TV movie made after he and her own range of memorabilia.
Waters made him his name making the most tasteless, over the top and grotesque films that were somehow nearly always enjoyable, well apart the Divine and dog turn incident. But sadly here he tries to reach a bigger market and in doing so begins to lose his own identity. A great performance from Turner but that's about it.
