The English aristocrat, Lord John Morgan, returns to the tribe to try and get his Mojo back and finds them despirited and in jeopardy themselves Review
A superior sequel to the 1970 hit sees Richard Harris' aristocrat abandon his ancestral pile - outside of which a fox-hunt is neatly contrasted against simultaneous happenings among the 'savages' of the Dakota Territory - and return to the Sioux circa 1830 to get his mojo back.
Discovering his adoptive tribe in a tragic plight, his lordship rallies their fightback. Offbeat Western enthusiasts will be pleased to hear this isn't accomplished without a vision, gory ritual ordeals, scenic splendours, scads of buffalo and exciting action, proficiently directed by Irvin Kershner.
Verdict
An offbeat Western with some decent action, but the same flaws as the first 1970s lame genre fusion.
