The 11th Hour Turn mankind's darkest hour into its finest

Plot A look at the state of the global environment including visionary and practical solutions for restoring the planet's ecosystems.
Review
An Inconvenient Truth pulled off the tricky double of informing and entertaining, and this documentary should be similar - wider-ranging (pollution as well as global warming) and, with Leonardo DiCaprio replacing Al Gore, better-looking.
Sadly, it’s too scattershot to land its punches. Where Gore built his conclusions piece-by-piece, making his points harder to debunk, this is filled with sweeping statements. What’s more, the final claims that high-tech solutions can solve the problem if only we would use them feels over-optimistic. Still, as another environmental kick up the backside, it’s scary enough to prod us along.
Verdict Too scattershot to land any effective punches.
