Big Momma's House 2
Every now and then a film comes along that has absolutely no merit whatsoever. This is one such occasion...

Plot
On his latest assignment, FBI agent Malcolm Turner (Lawrence) goes undercover as Big Momma, and works as a nanny for an unhappy woman (Procter) who is under investigation for murder.

Review
Big Momma's House 2

When his old partner is killed, FBI agent Martin Lawrence gets back into fat old lady drag and goes undercover as a nanny in the house of a workaholic software designer (Emily Procter) mixed up in an evil plot. So the premise of the original BMH is spliced with Mrs Doubtfire as Lawrence sorts out the lives of the fouled-up kids and brings down the villains.

The first film was a huge hit, but you’d be hard-pressed to find many who were agitating for more. This sequel is formula pap, which manages the heroic achievement of being officially a comedy but raising not a single laugh. There are homilies about being good parents, chases and dance scenes that overwork the fat-old-lady-got-moves routine, and more of Martin Lawrence than even his actual mama could stand.

Verdict
Not as bad as Son of the Mask or Master of Disguise, but bottom-rung dreck all the same. Martin, please stop making films.

Martin Lawrence's Family Comedy Venture 2- A review of Big Momma's House 2

Men in Black 2...Son of a Mask... do they ring any bells? Yes, they're all sequels of hit family films, which sucked! And, guess another family film sequel that sucks... that's right; Big Momma's House 2! Who on earth thought that this was a good idea to get Martin Lawrence cross-dressing again as an elderly obese nanny to find out some information on another suspicious character? Well, some half-brain-cell executive thought it was a good idea to do that, and the results speak for it. A lackl... More

I will never, ever see this movie. Even if I am on dialysis surrounded by Neo Nazis shouting slogans at me, I would still prefer it to the sound of Lawrence being a fat woman again. ... More
