The Prince and Me
Undercover prince falls for normal girl. Happens all the time around here.

Plot
A Danish prince, undercover at an American college, falls for a medical student. Will he admit he's a prince? Will she fall for his lifestyle? Or will she return to her noble work with the needy?

Review
When a spoilt heir to the Danish throne (Luke Mably) goes undercover as a student in Wisconsin, he ends up falling for would-be medic Paige (Julia Stiles). Initially horrified when she discovers his royal secret (as if), she's soon picking out priceless jewellery in a Danish palace.

It's here that this romantic comedy fulfils some of its promise as an aspirational fairy tale, delighting in the detail of Paige's privileged new life. But wait - shouldn't she be following her more noble calling and saving sick kids out in Africa?

This attempt at a modern-day Cinderella story is about as PC as a Career Girl Barbie and disappoints due to poor structure, flimsy characterisation and insufficient wit to distract from the above. Ben Miller provides the odd laugh as a long-suffering butler, but Stiles is still far better suited to serious roles. Shame Sex And The City director Coolidge had to quit the day job.

Verdict
Lame and predictable update Cinderella tale with an uninspiring performance from Styles
