You might have seen the recent red band trailer for Richard Linklater's latest, Everybody Wants Some!! But if your tastes run more towards regular footage, here's the newest look at the movie.
Linklater's latest exploration of youth, bonding and excess is set in the world of 1980s college life, and follows a freshman’s (Blake Jenner) first weekend of college, experiencing a fraternity-like lifestyle with his hard-partying baseball teammates as they navigate their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood. Yes, while there are strict rules to be followed, most of them are quickly broken in a hedonistic excess of booze, sex and drugs.
While not a direct sequel to 1993's Dazed And Confused, it definitely shares a similar feeling and attitude. And it's already drawing praise, including our own positive review. With Juston Street, Ryan Guzman, Tyler Hoechlin, Wyatt Russell and Temple Baker also in the cast, Everybody Wants Some!! will be out in the UK on May 13.
