After her blood-covered stint in 2013's Evil Dead remake, you'd think Jane Levy might be tempted to just let the phone go to voicemail when director Fede Alvarez calls. But the two enjoyed their horror stab and they've reunited for Don't Breathe, a home invasion thriller that also features Avatar's Stephen Lang. Check out the first trailer below.

Levy plays Rocky, a young woman struggling with life in Detroit, faced with uncaring parents and trying to do the best by her little sister. So when her boyfriend Money (Daniel Zovatto) and pal Alex (Dylan Minnette) show up offering the chance to make some real money, she tags along. The trio regularly burgles wealthy houses and makes off with what they can sell, but this is a different prospect.

Their latest target is the ramshackle house of a lonely, blind war veteran (Lang), who won a big settlement from a wealthy family after his daughter died in a hit-and-run accident. But when they get in, Rocky and co. find that he's far from helpless, and the teens are soon in a twisted cat and mouse game for their lives...

Alvarez directs, working from a script he wrote with regular collaborator Rodo Sayagues and once again as Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert's Ghost House Pictures company producing. The movie arrives here on September 9.
