In addition to a new TV spot timed to run during the Super Bowl, space thriller Life also unleashed a new trailer. Watch Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, Rebecca Ferguson and the rest of the crew screaming in a place only a few people will hear them...

Directed by Safe House's Daniel Espinosa from a script by Deadpool duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, Life finds a crew aboard the International Space Station receiving a specimen from the Red Planet. Though you might think the chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one... Well, you know the rest. Their initial excitement that it contains a viable, if microscopic, life form turns sour and then terrifying when they discover that the seemingly benign single-celled creature could be a lot more dangerous than anyone expected.

With a cast that also includes Ariyon Bakare, Olga Dihovichnaya and Hiroyuki Sanada, Life will be in cinemas a little earlier than originally though (scooting out of the way of sci-fi competition such as Alien: Covenant), arriving 24 March.
