Few 2017 films are anticipated on quite the same scale as Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049. So, with Harrison Ford returning to Philip K. Dick’s world after 35 years, it’s only right that we put the sequel on our latest cover.

View Blade Runner newbie Ryan Gosling (aka ‘Officer K’) in all of his neon glory below:

This limited edition cover features specially-commissioned artwork from supremo twin brother design duo, Van Orton. And, as we’re sure you’ll agree, it's the perfect dose of neon trippiness – an electric dream, if you will.

The new issue includes unparalleled on-set coverage of 2049 (in cinemas on 6 October), and you repli-can (sorry…) pick up a copy of our still-to-be-revealed newsstand cover from 13 July.

As ever, this edition is for subscribers only and will start dropping onto doormats over the next few days. To guarantee limited edition covers like this one, subscribe to Empire here{ =nofollow}.
