Busy old time for Richard Armitage. A few weeks ago, he was recruited for caper reboot/spin-off Ocean's Eight. Today brings word that he'll be part of the cast for Julie Delpy's sixth film as a director, My Zoe.

The indie drama already boasts Daniel Brühl, Lior Ashkenazy and Sophia Ally in the cast, with Delpy on writing, directing and co-starring duty. The film follows the fallout of Isabelle (Delpy) and James's (Armitage) marriage. Their relationship is well and truly over, but they stay in touch to share parenting time for their daughter, Zoe. Until, that is, tragedy strikes, and Isabelle decides to take matters into her own hands.

As is usual for this time of year, the film has been announced in order to help boost sales at the European Film Market, though given her history, we're sure Delpy's latest will be snapped up.

In addition to Ocean's Eight (due next year), Armitage has thriller Sleepwalker and historical drama Pilgrimage headed our way, though neither film has a UK release date yet.
