So much has been written and said about The Beatles that it seems unlikely there can be much more to tell about them. Ron Howard is looking to change that idea with his new documentary called The Beatles: Eight Days A Week – The Touring Years. The latest trailer is below.

Howard and his team have been digging up rare archive footage of John, Paul, George and Ringo in the years between getting their start in Liverpool and their last concert at Candlestick Park in San Francisco in 1966. It'll explore how the band came together to become this extraordinary phenomenon, and look at their inner workings – how they made decisions, created their music and built their collective career together.

In addition to that, there is commentary from people who were there at time, including surviving band members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr in new interviews that offer more insight.

Eight Days A Week will be rocking out in UK cinemas from September 15. US viewers will be able to see it on streaming platform Hulu on September 17.
