The Crown made an impact for Netflix last year, and has been rewarded with trophies for the likes of star Claire Foy and the show itself. Season 2 is coming our way at the end of the year and the first teaser has arrived.

In the new footage, Elizabeth (Foy) has been ruler for less than 10 years and he's already overseen three different prime ministers and an ever-changing world of chaos and political back-stabbing.

With scandals continuing to hit the royal family and feeling like even husband Philip (Matt Smith) doesn't have her back in the way she might need it, she'll have to take matters into her own hands once again.

This next season will see the arrival of US president John F. Kennedy (Michael C. Hall) and Jacqueline Kennedy (Jodi Balfour), and Matthew Goode as Tony Armstrong-Jones, a bohemian photographer who becomes Princess Margaret's (Vanessa Kirby) new beau.

The show will be back on our screens on 8 December.
