After bringing the world the unique and fascinating vampire tale A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, we were naturally curious to see what writer/director Ana Lily Amirpour would do next. The answer comes in the form of dystopian drama The Bad Batch, which has just put its first teaser trailer out online.

Featuring an eclectic cast that includes Keanu Reeves, Jason Momoa, Suki Waterhouse, Jim Carrey and Diego Luna, The Bad Batch is set in a world where a chunk of Texas has been fenced off and turned into a lawless, dangerous wasteland. Arlen (Waterhouse) is dumped into this terrifying, weird place, and must learn to survive there, in the face of savage cannibals and others.

But there are other lessons to be found lurking here, including discovering really what is bad and what is good. US audiences will see this one on 23 June, but the film has yet to lock down a UK release.
