While we've had a full-length trailer for Mary Poppins Returns, this new short glimpse at the movie – shown during an ad break across the pond for Dancing With The Stars actually manages to cram in more, including a new look at Meryl Streep and a dolphin. But not in the same shot...
Mary Poppins Returns, of course, stars Emily Blunt as the iconic, magical nanny who returns years later to help Michael (Ben Whishaw) and Jane Banks (Emily Mortimer) and their own kids deal with a family tragedy. We're promised more sprightly musical numbers, some blends of live-action and animation like the original and lots of life lessons from Mary. And yes, as mentioned, a dolphin. In a bath. Kids, don't try that at home.
The cast also includes Lin-Manuel Miranda, Angela Lansbury, Colin Firth, Dick Van Dyke (who, of course, appeared in the first film back in 1964) and Julie Walters. It'll be in UK cinemas on 21 December.
