While the focus of Disney's next animated adventure,Moana is naturally on its courageous title character (voiced by Auli'i Cravalho), there will be plenty from Dwayne Johnson, who portrays arrogant demigod Maui. He even has his own self-aggrandising song. Check out a sample below.

Maui's song – You're Welcome – has the blowhard character talking up his many accomplishments with the help of Mini-Maui, his main tattoo and occasional Jiminy Cricket-like conscience. The track was written by Hamilton musical genius Lin-Manuel Miranda, who tailored it to The Rock after listening to vocalisations from his wrestling days.

Moana finds the young woman defying her father's wishes for his people to stay within the safety of their island's reef and heading out on a journey to help restore order in the world. She has "help" from Maui, dunderheaded chicken Hei Hei (Alan Tudyk) and faithful pig pal Pua. The movie will be in UK cinemas on 2 December. Check out the most recent trailer right here.
