Given Phoebe Waller-Bridge's growing profile and packed, in-demand schedule, there was always a chance that her excellent dark comedy series Fleabag might have ended up a one-season wonder. But she's committed to at least one more run of episodes, and is adding Andrew Scott to the cast.

With filming now kicking off, Waller-Bridge has returned to write the scripts and star as the complicated title character, with the likes of Olivia Colman, Sian Clifford, Bill Paterson, Brett Gelman, Jenny Rainsford and Hugh Skinner all returning for this new season. As for Scott, there are no details on who he'll be playing, but we're guessing it probably won't be a criminal mastermind.

"I can’t believe they let me do this again. I’m so happy to be back with the incredible Fleabag team and I’m as surprised as anyone about where this series has taken us," Waller-Bridge says in a statement. "Thank God for Andrew Scott." The show will be back on our screens next year.
