The last time Amanda Seyfried worked with director Andrew Niccol, the result was... In Time, which didn't exactly set critical hearts racing. We're hoping for more successful things with their new project, Anon, which already has Clive Owen on to star.

Anon will see Owen as a detective working in a near-future world where there is no privacy, anonymity or ignorance, which sounds like it could either be terrifying or liberating (probably the former). When he learns of a young woman (Seyfried) who apparently doesn't exist, he begins to question whether the transparent society really can be crime free, or whether it's the biggest threat we face.

Seyfried was last seen in Ted 2, Christmas With The Coopers and drama Fathers And Daughters. She's currently at work on Mark Pellington's new comedy The Last Word and is also reportedly part of the cast for the new Twin Peaks, due next year.
