Fresh Godzilla Pic Online
The path of destruction...

Filmmakers! Let the above picture serve as a warning to you: this is what happens to your location when you bring Bryan Cranston a coffee that is 3.7 degrees cooler than the temperature he requested. He is the one who knocks... things over.

The real culprit here is actually the other star of Godzilla – the beast himself. Monsters director Gareth Edwards is busy shooting the movie featuring the giant creature, and Legendary Pictures has been sharing behind-the-scenes stills from the production as it films in Vancouver.

Little is known about the exact plot (besides the obvious), though the aim is to humanise the tale of the marauding monster and view it through the eyes of people involved. Cranston is part of a cast that also includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, David Strathairn, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe.

There will no doubt be lots more chaos to come in the months ahead, particularly when the VFX bods have put the finishing touches to enough footage of the central creature to give us all a teaser.

Godzilla crashes into our cinemas on May 16, 2014.
