We’ve all been very good and now the man in the red suit is here to reward us. No, not Father Christmas – Tony Stark! Iron Man 3 is finally touching down in UK cinemas and for those still wondering whether they should go and see it (they should), here’s a fresh featurette with some new footage and the possibly spoilery mention of a particular plotline. 

In case it has escaped your notice, or you’ve been trying to avoid any mention of it, Iron Man 3 features Shane Black on megaphone duties, having co-written the script with Drew Pearce.

The film finds Robert Downey Jr.’s usually quip-happy hero in an unusually low mood following the events in New York and the Avengers’ battle against alien forces.

Troubled by nearly dying and concerned that he can’t protect the ones he loves (particularly Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts), Tony is driving himself to develop new suit technology. And when a fresh threat arrives in the shape of the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley), Stark decides to act, which itself has consequences...

Iron Man 3 is on screens now in the UK, while American audiences will have to wait until May 3. Nip over here for Empire's review.

Iron man Three
Just been to see Iron Man Three and have to say very disappointing weak story line Extremis story arc didn't work humour was patchy at best and don't bother waiting for the end credit tit bit as it is rubbish left feeling that Iron Man has run his course after three films time for marvel to concentrate on some of the ( lesser known ) characters such as DD Black Panther Ant Man Doc Strange to go in another direction and do something different than the straight to shoot em up efforts that these se More
