Terry Crews Stars In Cloudy 2 Viral Clip
He's a pec-popping polymath, you know

If your marketing campaign opts for the hype-man approach to getting the message out there, why not find the toughest, gnarliest, ex-Expendable out there to keep the watching wee'uns on their toes. Heck, do what Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 has done and hire Terry Crews to give the world the jackanory? Here is the man himself, courtesy of Cinema Blend, telling us what to expect from the franchise's new sophomor-gasboard...

Stepping in for Mr T, now off pitying fools elsewhere, Crews voices Officer Earl Devereaux. He's the law enforcer trying to keep a saucepan lid on the meat-based mayhem concocted by brainiac Flint Lockwood in Swallow Falls.

Picking up the story of dedicated boffin Lockwood (Bill Hader), the man who created a device to turn water into food, we discover that the town's inhabitants have relocated to allow the authorities to clean up the mess left by Flint’s machine going haywire and raining giant edible products down on the place. The machine, though, lives on in a Jurassic outpost that Lockwood and friends must journey across.

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 is out in Blighty on October 25. Expect a whole world of freaky-foodie creatures (including cucumbirds and fruit cockatiels), and, judging by the movie's trailer, plenty of Chris Miller and Phil Lord's offbeat wit and wonderment.
