Pictures: Trance UK Premiere Report

Trance UK Premiere

Trance may be one of those twisty-turny brain-bending Inception-y numbers, but its UK premiere was an altogether simpler affair: all three stars (James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson, Vincent Cassel) in a row, on a red carpet, alongside their director, Danny Boyle. Simple, really.

Unlike, say, the Olympics opening ceremony, it went off without a hitch - and, like the Olympics opening ceremony, it rained just a little bit, but no-one really minded. Plus, Rosario Dawson wore one of perhaps the sparkliest dresses ever made, which normally makes you forget that raindrops are falling on your head.

Check out the trailer below to get a better handle on what Danny Boyle's hypno-thriller is all about, and be sure to read our extensive interview with the great man in the latest issue of Empire. Trance is out in cinemas next Wednesday, March 27.
