Spoiler-Filled Iron Man 3 Lego Unveiled
The 'Ultimate Showdown' and more

20 February 2013  |  Written by Tom Ambrose  |  Source: eurobricks.com

If you're a fan of Lego's movie tie-ins, you'll be aware of the perennial problem with film-affiliated toy manufacture: often what they're selling reveals information some cinemagoers may not want to know yet - and other cinemagoers are desperate to find out about. Here, then, with the spoiler horn loudly sounded, are six pictures from Iron Man 3's upcoming Lego range, boasting such eye-catching titles as Iron Man Extremis Sea Port Battle, Iron Man Malibu Mansion Attack and Iron Man Vs. The Madarin: Ultimate Showdown.

What's of note is Don Cheadle's War Machine still looking like War Machine - and not, as seen in the recent poster, the stars and stripes-branded Iron Patriot - as well as Guy Pearce's zombie-like Extremis virus-creating scientist Aldrich Killian, who looks like he's tasted some of his own medicine.

Then there's The Mandarin's intriguing death buggy, which may not resemble anything in the actual film due to it being, ahem, a toy, but if it does resemble anything from the film, it also resembles a flame-throwing vacuum cleaner of doom. And in the Lethal Weapon 2-like Malibu attack, who's the green-skinned Extremis dude? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.

As well as as these Lego-based pseudo-spoilers, there have been plenty of tie-in bits and bobs from other companies, including these from Singapore. Take a look and try to work how why War Machine is both silver and blue/red, and think about whether you're nerdy enough to buy the special Iron Man 3 3D glasses...

Iron Man 3 will be out in the UK on April 26, a week ahead of its US release.

D'oh!
I've had a lego Iron Man sat on my desk for a year, and didn't realise the faceplate could lift up until I saw these shots. I'm going to go into a corner now More

Huntsman
Yeah I wouldn't mind a set or two of them. Did you notice that in the "Malibu Mansion Attack" set that it is Pepper Potts in the Iron Man suit and not Tony.......Interesting. More

The great thing about IronMan is the cool hot rod red armor! so why the hell did they think it would be cool to have the latest armor a dull and crap looking pale gold colour!! More
