If you were a driven young police detective determined to take down your criminal nemesis, would you jump at an opportunity to do that, even if it meant exploiting his hospitalised son? If you’re James McAvoy’s Max Lewinsky in Welcome To The Punch, then of course you would! A new clip from the film can be seen below. 

Punch finds Lewinsky trying to capture gangster Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong). When Sternwood’s son needs treatment after a botched heist, the ‘tec see his chance and pitches the idea to his boss (David Morrissey). But can the trap work? Not everyone seems as convinced as he is…

McAvoy, Strong and Morrissey are just part of a cast that also includes Andrea Riseborough, Peter Mullan, Daniel Mays, Johnny Harris, Steve Oram and Daniel Kaluuya. Welcome To The Punch hits our screens on March 15, and you can watch the trailer below.
