New Red Band Trance Trailer
James McAvoy has head issues

14 February 2013  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Yahoo

We wondered, while watching this new, red band trailer for Danny Boyle’s brain-itching thriller Trance, where the “Red Band” element would come into play. For a while, it just seemed like a re-mix of the first trailer, with a few more drops of blood and the odd flash of flesh. And then… it hits. The moment. Which, if we’re honest, you might want to wait and see in cinemas, though brave souls can take a look below.

Trance, set in the streets of fair London town and boasting the likes of James McAvoy, Vincent Cassel and Rosario Dawson, pitches an art boffin into the middle of a heist.

As Cassel and his gang steal Goya’s Witches in the Air, McAvoy is roped in to assist, but suffers a blow to the head after the crime and can’t remember where he stashed the painting. When threats and more violent methods don’t encourage him to cough up the location, Cassel turns to a psychotherapist (Dawson) to help.

But that just leads to a web of deceit and illusion as the brain can play tricks. What’s really going on? To find that out, you’ll have to watch the movie, which arrives on March 27.
