New Jack The Giant Slayer Trailer Lands

It would seem that the trailers for Bryan Singer's Jack The Giant Slayer all want to showcase a different tone for the movie. We’ve had more comical, fantasy adventure versions and now comes one that appears to be action-packed with just a hint of whimsy. Check out this latest promo below.

 

Building on the traditional fairytale of Jack And The Beanstalk, Jack ramps up the number of huge creatures and crafts a backstory that speaks to an ancient war between mankind and their giant neighbours.

See, the giants used to roam the land, and were chased off into exile in a world above our own. But when farmhand Jack (Nicholas Hoult) unwittingly creates a beanstalk bridge between the two realms – one that strands Princess Isabelle (Eleanor Tomlinson) up above – he volunteers to join the rescue mission.

Unluckily for Jack, it’s not going to be quite as simple as that. And soon an old conflict is brought back to life…

With Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci and Eddie Marsan also among the cast, Jack The Giant Slayer stomps into our cinemas on March 22.

The beanstalk is a big willy metaphor. If this was Jack The Giant Stalker it would sound like a documentary about Viagra. More

SINGER LOVE, but...
I LOVE Bryan's movies and this trailer is a MASSIVE improvement on the first, but, the giants still look awful. Hopefully they look a bit better on release. More
