New Still Of Rebecca Hall In Iron Man 3
Meet Maya Hansen, the female Tony Stark

04 February 2013  |  Written by Ali Plumb  |  Source: Marvel

In the upcoming Iron Man 3, Rebecca Hall plays Maya Hansen, a very important figure in one of Iron Man's most important comic-book arcs: Warren Ellis' Extremis - and now you can see what she looks like at her desk, you lucky things.

Like her old flame Tony Stark, Hansen is a bit of a brainiac, a super scientist behind the almost incredible Extremis techno-virus that can rejig a human's entire nervous system. In the trailers so far (see below), it looks like Hall's Hansen will have a bit of a rough time of it, but in the still below things seem reasonably rosy, despite that intriguing scratch on her forehead.

With plot details of Shane Black's Iron Man threequel still kept firmly under wraps, to find out more about Maya and what may happen to her on the big screen, you're best off reading the Extremis comics yourself - and, of course, buying the latest issue of Empire, which just so happens to have an interview with Hall herself. You can read a few snippets from that here.

Empire's March edition is on sale now, whereas Iron Man 3 is out on April 26.
