Empire's Man Of Steel Cover Is Here
No, it's not a bird or a plane

28 January 2013  |  Written by Helen O'Hara  |  Source: Exclusive

Super-duper news this morning: the new issue of Empire is out this week and it's adorned with the Man Of Steel on the cover. Yes, Superman is back in town and we have the full story in the brand spanking new issue of the magazine.

There's a cover-line free version for subscribers, if you're into pictures of superheroes without words in the way, and the magazine is packed with information about Zack Snyder's film from the director and all his cast.

ALso in this month's magazine, our Superhero Preview looks ahead to Iron Man 3, The Wolverine, Thor: The Dark World, Kick-Ass 2 and The Lone Ranger. We look at The World's End and This Is The End; talk to David Lynch, take a close look at Pain & Gain and the witches of Oz: The Great & Powerful and much, much more.

The March issue of Empire will be on newsstands this Thursday, so be ready to leap tall buildings (with as many bounds as necessary) to get to your nearest newsagent and get your hands on it. You can also get hold of it on your iPad here and in the US.

Look Ma, No Bulge
You can tell they digitally flattened his manhood (probably in the film too) so as not to set the I'm-Afraid-To-Admit-Men-Have-Penises Fanboy contingency (basically all of them) into hysteria. I have never understood that weird hypocritical hang-up. In the live set photos is was much more prominent, here he looks like a mannequin. I think it's rather funny, and sadly repressed. More

RE: Request please
Brandon was packing more superman if you know what I mean!! just saying! I mean! is this guy doing a buffalo bill or what! I don't want a high pitched Superman. Seriously now, I love the overall style of the suit! but its too dark and the weird fish-skin diving suit texture sucks. I think ist supposed to be chainmail texture but just doesn't work!!. Hope it looks better on screen! I also hope its terns out to be is Dads undergarments to his full regalia too! and it has some sort of 'tech' More

Request please
Being a big fan of the Big Blue Boy Scout, I have a request, please. If there any generous subscribers who is willing to part with their copy of this, I'd be interested. I'm willing to pay more than the magazine itself (within reason, of course). And yes, I am talking about exclusive subscriber cover. Please get in touch and we'll do business. Thanks :) More
