One of the biggest gambles of 2013 is the latest attempt to introduce Superman back to our screens. Though we’ve already gotten a good look at the Man of Steel in, er, Man Of Steel, there’s always room for another picture of Henry Cavill giving us his best Kryptonian orphan in a cape look. The latest image is online courtesy of USA Today and can be seen above. Wonder what he's looking at?
Man Of Steel, written by David Goyer and featuring Zack Snyder in the director’s chair, finds a new iteration on Superman’s origin as he struggles to define himself on Earth and tackles old threats, including Michael Shannon’s General Zod.
So far, the trailers have made this new effort look decidedly moody and thoughtful, which might not seem the approach you’d expect from Snyder. But the most recent promo also hinted at plenty of super-powered action, so we’re hopeful that the director is taking counsel from producer/co-story scribe Christopher Nolan and holding back the really good stuff until the film itself (or at least until a later promo).
With Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Richard Schiff and Ayelet Zurer also among the cast, Man Of Steel is out on June 14.
Trail looks great! Can't wait for this.. gotta love super heroes...... More

RE: New Man Of Steel Pic
I'm going to cease judgement until I see the film. I agree though, comic book/superhero films are becoming a tad overdone. I guess the problem with Superman is there will be a greater lack of belief he can be defeated opposed to that of Batman or Ironman.
The only worry I have is with Zack Synder, I've never particularly cared about any of his films. As beautiful as they look. More

RE:
I never really got Superman, he is just too, well, Super . . . . He has only 1 real weakness, no real conflict, his disguise/alias is rubbish and his back story is of little interest. I appreciate that he has a massive following in comic circles, but I think his time in film is well past it's sell by date. I really don't see what else there is to bring to the table with the character, so not at all excited by this latest attempt, sorry ! More
