Three New Posters For The Host
Hosters, perhaps?

06 January 2013  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Yahoo

With Stephenie Meyer drawing a veil over the Twilight saga (at least for now), the only way for her fans to get cine-satisfaction this year is via Andrew Niccol’s adaptation of Meyers' alien interloper drama The Host. Three new posters have arrived via Yahoo for the film and are below.

The Host finds Earth being rudely colonised by invading, body-snatching aliens known as Souls. The extra-terrestrial troublemakers have slowly being taking over the entire human race via our minds, and only a few pockets of resistance remain.

When young Melanie Stryder (Saoirse Ronan) is subjected to the procedure, something odd occurs. She becomes bonded with the soul known as Wanderer – a being that has been able to help dominate several worlds before Earth – and ends up a sort of dual personality called Wanda.

After escaping the clutches of her body-snatching captors, she ends up back with her resistance cell, and falls into the arms of both Ian O’Shea (Jake Abel) and Jared Howe (Max Irons). Can she help humanity win its planet back? Or will the alien-controlled likes of The Seeker (Diane Kruger) track her down? We’ll find out on March 22 when the movie lands. For now, check out the latest trailer below.

RE: Three New Posters For The Host
I feel bad for the cast and crew of this film. I really wish they wouldn't market it so heavily to do with the Twilight Saga. I know it's by the author but believe me I have read both the Twilight series (I can't even believe they got published, what an awful collection of terrible words) and The Host. The Host is by far a superior book, it's written better, seems more 'adult' and actually has a thrilling tale to be told. Unfortunately I think this film will be let down and trying to please the More

Hmm. Those first two posters look ridiculously Twilight-esque. But then I guess they would really More
