Hitchcock UK Premiere

Much like the real Sir Alfred Hitchcock would have done in his place, Sir Anthony Hopkins revelled in the warm glow of a Leicester Square premiere crowd for his latest film, the appropriately-titled Hitchcock, where Sir Anthony plays, um, Sir Alfred Hitchcock.

Alongside him stood the radiant Helen Mirren - who in the film plays Hitch's other half, Alma Reville - as well as the director of the movie, Sacha "Anvil: The Story Of Anvil" Gervasi.

For picture proof of all three smiling for the camera, take a look at the gallery below. For more details on the film itself, however, be sure to check out the latest issue of Empire, which features a set visit report from Hitchcock: The Story Of Hitchcock (as well as a huge amount more on all sorts of movie wonderment).

Hitchcock, to give it its proper name, is already out in the USA, but British audiences will have to wait until February 8 for their Hitch fix.
