Love the trailer, especially the Japanese version. I am hoping that Benedict is Khan, the way he jumps, fights, runs through windows suggest the product of late 20th Century genetic engineering (unless he's a Romulan!) I wonder if they have done the back story to his character similar to old Spock's tale of Nero in the reboot version of Star Trek? Whatever, this looks great and I can't wait to see it! More

Great teaser but beware! You may consider the Japanese trailer a bit spoilerific. Although I can't see 'JJ' letting that bit be seen by anyone without knowing EVERYONE would see it, and every Trekker knowing what it meant. That can only mean it's a trick! Or is it! Yeah probably, but then again, maybe not... I don't think I will sleep till May 17 worrying about this, or will I? More

In the trailer it looks like Kirk is talking to Pike. What if Kirk is to pay for pike/Spock's decisions. It was actually them that stranded Khan on Centi-Alpha 5 (or was it 6). And the good man that Kirk thought Pike was is compromised.

********POSSIBLE SPOILERS REGARDING SPOCK AND THE JAPANESE TRAILER*************************
From that Japanese teaser it looks like they'll be killing off Spock just like in Wrath of Khan, which is a shame for two reasons. For one, I don't think two movies gives us enough of the Kirk-Spock-Bones triumvirate, which the series and films were famous for - though granted I haven't seen Into Darkness yet. It just seems that two movies of Spock is nowhere near enough. More

IMDB still lists Cumberbatch as Khan (rumoured). I don't buy it. He doesn't look or sound remotely Indian and more to the point, the events of Space Seed have not even taken place. That said, it's looking great. More

Now thats a great teaser.Looks really exciting but still vague enough they dont ruin anything.I still dont think the villain is Khan but i could be proved wrong.He could very well be a different Augment like one of those seen in the Enterprise season 4 trilogy arc '' Borderland ''.
OR he could be that mad scientist Dr. Roger Korby.
