New Warm Bodies Trailer
Undead boy meets girl

03 December 2012  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Yahoo

It’s only been a couple of weeks since the first trailer for Jonathan Levine’s adaptation of Warm Bodies, but like a horde of shuffling zomboids, a new, shorter promo has arrived craving a slice of your braaaaain… Er… Your attention. Check it out above.

Warm Bodies, taken from Isaac Marion’s novel, chronicles the slow awakening of R (X-Men: First Class’ Nicholas Hoult) a zombie who's un-living in a post-apocalyptic, flesh-eater infested world.

When out on a raid with some of his fellow undead types (including Rob Corddry’s M), R spots Julie (Teresa Palmer), a beautiful and very much alive woman.

Smitten – and surprised to find himself so – R swears to protect Julie and forms a relationship with her, even though her father (John Malkovich) is the head of a city full of human survivors who wants to destroy the zombies he sees, not entirely mistakenly, as a mortal threat.

But R and Julie’s romance, though seemingly doomed, ignites a spark in R and, possibly his fellow zombies that could change everything.

There’s some new footage on display here, which just cements our hope that this could be something special: funny, touching, and, yes, still full of zombie action. Even if Palmer’s Julie could use a bit of a lesson in how to really pass as a zomboid. More like a drunk who has lost a bet, Jules…

The film arrives on February 8.
