New Les Miserables Promo Online
Do you hear the people sing?

With the first trailer for Tom Hooper’s Les Miserables, we largely got Anne Hathaway singing a haunting version of I Dreamed A Dream. Then, in a more recent featurette, we got Hugh Jackman and a few others warbling. Now, with the second full trailer, everyone lets their pipes loose. Check it out above.

This new promo for the film certainly gets the pulse racing and frankly makes it look like a dynamic, emotional, sweeping and beautifully rendered version of the stage musical. The live singing adds drama, and it seems that Hooper has assembled a talented cast to pull it all off. It’s easy to see why there’s early Oscar chatter about this one.

We even get to hear some of Russell Crowe singing as driven lawman Javert. And he delivers, with a few brief, stirring snatches here.

Hathaway, Jackman and Crowe are joined by Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Samantha Barks for the movie, which hits these shores on January 11. And for our comparison chart of the stars' vocal abilities, head right here.
