If you get a slight sense of deja view – the feeling that you’ve seen a lot of this trailer before – reast assured that your eyes are not deceiving you. We have indeed seen whole chunks of this G.I. Joe: Retaliation trailer in earlier promos. But this new one does bring a few fresh scenes, so check it out above.

After being held for release in 2013 – pending some 3D tinkering and, possibly, adding a few more moments for box office draw Channing Tatum – Retaliation is now back looking to grab our attention.

And let’s face it, when you have Dwayne Johnson as your focus, and he’s sharing the screen with Bruce Willis, you have our attention already.

New in this trailer is a little more about Cobra’s evil plot to destroy cities around the world, with a shot of London blowing up. Honestly, hasn’t the Eye been through enough already?

Tatum also gets a little more screen time, though it’s really just an extension of his chat with Johnson’s Roadblock.

With any luck, Mr Franchise Viagra and Handsome McGee can make this one really entertaining. G.I. Joe: Retaliation arrives on March 27.

Optimistic...
I am looking forward to this, looks a lot more grounded (I use the term loosely) than the first film plus they have got rid of Wayans who was awful in the last one. This trailer only has a couple of new shots but at least it did away with the horrible dubstep music track! Shame it has been replaced with generic choir trailer music but hopefully the final score will be a lot more dynamic. Bruce Willis and The Rock will be a great combo plus a rematch of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow is making m More

Is this really a new trailer as it looks exactly the same as the trailer that was previously released to me? More
